Gino Iannucci: The Art of 101
Gino Iannucci arrived at 101 Skateboards in the early nineties and immediately changed the visual language of the brand. His debut pro model — the Boy in the Window — became one of the most recognizable graphics of the decade.
The collaboration between Iannucci and artist Todd Bratrud produced a series of boards that blurred the line between skateboard graphic and fine art. Each release built on the last, creating a visual narrative that collectors now chase across continents.
Today, near-mint examples of the original 101 Iannucci boards command prices that would have seemed absurd at the time of their release. But for those who were there, the value was always obvious.
