The Giraffee Board, 1994
World Industries in 1994 was a factory of irreverence. Under Steve Rocco, the brand churned out graphics designed to provoke, amuse, and occasionally offend. The Giraffee board sits in the sweet spot — playful enough to be beloved, weird enough to be memorable.
The elongated giraffe character became a cult favorite among riders who appreciated the absurdist humor that defined the World Industries era. Today it stands as a totem of the mid-nineties, when skateboarding was still figuring out what it wanted to be.
