Selling a deck
For-Sale Posts are made only through the Listing form. A deck for sale is listed on Madera, and its For-Sale Post in a Forum's Marketplace comes from that Listing, with its price and condition kept up to date. The Forum Post editor cannot write a For-Sale Post, so please don't sell in Forum Posts or Comments.
Where a Forum is open to sellers, its page has a List it in this Forum link that takes you to the Listing form.
Keep deals on Madera
Share Madera listings when discussing a board for sale. Keep contact details, outside payment links and requests to move a deal to another service out of posts and comments.
Links to skate history, artist interviews and other reference material are welcome. Report posts that ask you to pay or arrange a deal elsewhere.
The Madera Forums are for collectors who want to talk boards: IDs, histories, finds and grails. A few simple rules keep it good.
Be good to each other
Disagree about grades, eras and reissues all you want. Keep it about the boards, not the person.
Show the board
Posting a deck? Photos of the graphic and the top. Asking for an ID? Include the bottom, any stamps and the shape.
Call reissues reissues
If you know it's a reissue, re-screen or repaint, say so. If you're not sure, say that.
No selling in the threads
Buying and selling happens on the Marketplace. Selling is invite-only at launch, and every listing is approved by the appraiser. Artifacts are inspected in Long Beach. Premium ships from the seller to the buyer. A For-Sale post comes only from a Listing. Don't sell in Forum Posts or Comments.
No price fixing or hype
Share what you paid or saw a board sell for. Don't pump values.
Credit the artist and photographer
Graphics have makers. Name them when you know.
No hate, harassment or doxxing
Zero tolerance. One strike.
Mods have the last word
Moderators may edit, move or remove posts. Questions about a decision? Message the mods, not the thread.
Moderators remove posts that break these rules. Repeat breaks lead to a warning, then a 7-day suspension, then a ban.
