Premium and Artifacts: Know the terms
Two launch tiers, with the price, payment and handling terms to review before you buy.
Premium: $500 to under $8,000
Premium is peer-to-peer, with listings from invited sellers only. Every listing requires the appraiser’s approval. Boards ship directly from the seller to the buyer, with a signature required on delivery.
The buyer’s premium is 6%, shown on the listing before checkout. The seller has 24 hours to answer an offer, and the buyer has 24 hours to pay.
Artifacts: $8,000 and up
Artifacts are paid by wire and handled through Madera in Long Beach. Signature on delivery is required. Artifact returns go back to Madera in Long Beach.
The buyer’s premium is 8%, shown on the listing before checkout. The Artifact seller fee is 2% plus a $150 listing fee.

Madera is a curated marketplace for skateboarding and action sports culture. Explore original boards and the stories behind them. There are no auctions.
You can also buy Open boards priced under $500. “Sold by Madera” identifies Madera-owned inventory.
